Emmet B. Keeffe III

(Founder, Moelam)

Emmet recognized early in his career the power of establishing and nurturing business relationships and coined the phrase “the network is the business” more than thirty years ago. Since that time, he spent seventeen years as CEO and Co-Founder of iRise and later joined the private equity firm Insight Partners as Managing Director and Founder of Insight Partners for Enterprise.

Emmet has produced experiential thought leadership events over the course of his career which helped him establish thousands of technology executive and founder relationships globally. In 2018, he travelled to the Himalayas on a finding purpose mission and visited the Kingdom of Bhutan. During that experience, he discovered the word “Moelam” which can only be understood by going back centuries in time. Moelam is defined as “aspiration path” and the belief that every meeting happens for a reason. Moelam was later founded by Emmet as a private experiential event business to help technology executives and entrepreneurs define their future portfolio career strategies in preparation for the eventual transition from operating roles into a more balanced portfolio career.

On a personal level, Emmet is deeply passionate about anything automotive, motorsports, mental wellbeing and music. He is a Co-Owner of Campos Racing and has a long-time dream to compete for the Formula 1 World Championship. Emmet is also the Chairman and Co-Founder of the Contentment Foundation, a mental wellbeing non-profit and the Founder of the Batch Farm Festival, a private music festival in Somerset, England. Emmet enjoys travelling, playing the drums, spending time with his wife and two boys at their farm and taking long walks in the countryside with his two Italian Spinone dogs.
